Josh laughed, "It's alright, let me just find a mending spell in this book." Josh flipped through the pages and paused as the spell book flipped to a random page on it's own, "Kayden? Is your name Kayden?" He asked the spell book. It hummed in affirmation and flipped to a mending spell, "Well, then. It's appears his name is Kayden." He cast the mending spell and the bear was back to normal

Rachel smiled at her now mended teddy bear. "Thank you!" she said. She paused when she heard the book hum. "Kayden? It's name is Kayden? Interesting. I didn't even know spell books had names. I've had my spell book for years and it's never done anything like that before.:
"It seems he has his own feelings and what not," Josh shrugged. Kayden hummed
Rachel walked closer, examining Kayden. "Can he talk? Or just make humming noises?" she asked curiously. It definitely interesting to her. She had never seen anything like it before.
"I've only ever heard him hum."
"Interesting" Rachel said. She grabbed her own spell book. "My book is nothing like yours. I wonder why." She opened her book, glancing through it. "And mine doesn't have as many spells."
He shrugged, "I wish I could answer your questions."
"Me too" Rachel said. She sighed, clutching her book. She glanced at Amethyst Aria. "Pets are amazing. Did you know that they have a class for learning how to care for them? It's called Care for Mythical Pets."
Rachel nodded. "Yeah. They teach you all there is to know about mythical pets. I've had a lot of experience taking care of pets. Well, regular pets that is. Aria is my first mythical pet. They even allow regular pets here if they have special abilities, which is why I have my cats here. My sister also brought one of our other cats and here recently. It's a like a mini zoo in our dorm" she joked, chuckling.
"I can imagine." Josh laughed, "I'm just a bit worried how big Amethyst will get."
"Yeah, dragons are huge creatures. Maybe you can build a special area for her or have her live somewhere off-campus if she gets too big for you dorm?" Rachel suggested.
"That might be a good idea." He replied, looking a bit exasperated
"That's what my sister my sister and I did. We have a small area in our room where our pets can eat, drink water, and sleep" Rachel said. She tilted her head. "Are you okay? You seem upset with something."
"I'm just now realizing how difficult it'll be taking care of a dragon."
Rachel nodded. "I know how difficult it is to take care of a pet. One of our cats is deaf, so we have to take extra care of her and make sure she's okay. It's tough being able to understand what she wants sometimes, but she actually understands Sign Language, so my sister and I have learned some Sign Language to make it easier for us to care for her."
Rachel nodded. "Yeah" she said. "We've been trying to teach her how to read so we can communicate with her easier. She's a really sweet cat and loves getting attention."
((Hey! Just letting you know, I'm looking for a job right now so I'll probably be busy and won't be on as much. I'l still try to reply when I can, though!))

That's fine! Good luck!))
"All cats like attention."
"All cats like attention."
((Thank you!))
"Yeah, that's true" Rachel said with a smile. "Our parents thought it would be better if my sister brought her with so we can take care of her. My cousin helps out sometimes if we're too busy to care for her. But usually we're able to."

yep!))
"That's good." Josh replied, smiling

"Yeah" Rachel said with a smile. "So, is Amethyst the first pet you've ever had? Or did have one before?" she asked. She put her book down, picking up Aria and holding her in her arms.
"That's nice" Rachel said. "Aria is my first mythical pet. I've just had cats and dogs, so a phoenix is definitely new to me. Hopefully I know what I'm doing when it comes to taking care of her."
"I think it's similar to taking care of a parrot."
"A parrot, huh?" Rachel said. She smiled. "I've never had a parrot before, let alone a bird, so I don't have much experience with that either." She gave a slight chuckle.
Rachel smiled. "That would be great! Thank you so much!" she said. She paused for a moment, looking at Aria. "What kind of birds have you had before? Were any of them mythical birds?"
Rachel gave a slight frown. "I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder what happened to him" she said. "I've had some pets that passed away, so I understand the feeling of losing a pet."

Rachel tilted her head. "Alive? But where would he be if he was alive?" Rachel said. "It might be nearly impossible to find him at this point. He could be anywhere really."
"Hmm... well, maybe we could do it the old-fashioned way. By using a map, and possibly using a spell on the map to find him. I can't guarentee it will work, but it might" Rachel said.
"How old was he when he left?" Rachel asked. She looked through her bag, remembering that she had a small book that contained a map. She pulled out the book, showing it Josh. "When was the last time you saw him?"
Rachel tilted her head. "Well, wouldn't he have with you when you last saw him? Do you remember where you were with him last?" she asked. "Although I guess it might be nearly impossible to track by now if he's been gone for years. There's still a chance he could be found, though."
Rachel paused for a moment. "Based on what I know about griffins, they're known for guarding treasure. Maybe he went somewhere where there's treasure to protect? But I don’t know if we have enough information to track him" she said.
Rachel looked at the book, reading the spell. She nodded. "Maybe. I guess we could give a try" she said. She paused. "Should we try it together?"
"Okay, let's do this" Rachel said. She took a deep breath, preparing herself. Let's just hope this works. "Just let me know when you're ready, and we can start."
((Alright!))
Rachel nodded. "I am too" she said. She stood up from her desk, readying herself. She began reciting the spell, hoping that her magic was strong enough for it to work.

Rachel continued reciting the spell, her voice getting louder each time. As she and Josh said the spell, she suddenly saw a small, bright light appearing. She looked away, avoiding lookinf at it. Then, she noticed it stopped. "Did it work?" she asked.
Rachel looked at the map, examining it closer. She noticed the spot that was marked on the map and smiled. "I can't believe it actually worked!" she said. "It doesn't look like he's too far away, but the maps can be hard to read. He's definitely not at the school, though. That's for sure."
Rachel nodded. "Yes" she said. "But we should go after class. We can't go while we're in class." She chuckled. "We wouldn't want to get in trouble, would we?"
Rachel smiled back. "You're welcome. I'm glad that I could" she said. She paused for a moment. "As soon as class is over, we can start looking for him. I'm sure he's fine. Wherever he is."
((Do you want to time skip?))
((Do you want to time skip?))
Rachel gave an assuring nod. "Don't worry. I have a feeling that he's still around somewhere. I just hope that he'll come back with us" she said. She watched as the teacher entered the classroom, tidying up her desk and facing forward to pay attention.
((Should we move the roleplay somewhere else?))

Thuy was at her desk, getting ready for today's lesson. She watched as Phire entered the classroom in her phoenix form, than turning back into a human. She quickly took a sip of her coffee before acknowledging Phire with smile. "Good morning, Phire" she said in a polite tone.
