Double check but I think she approved.
I'm pretty sure at this point, you'd be okay just updating your selection post.

I like this series but it's a bit the same as last book. A lot happens, MC is attacked and there is 2 killings, and then it is resolved in just a few days. I do like the snarky grandmother.

Krissy did it in her selection post 55.

Thanks, Jane (PS).
Team, it's been a rocky start for me, I apologize, not being on GR as much as I'd like the last couple of days. I appreciate everyone pitching in!

An Heiress's Guide to Deception and Desire
Precis: This is book 2 of what will be a 3 book series by my fellow Alabamian academic, Manda Collins. It is a regency romance centered on the mystery of a missing actress wherein the lead heroine, Caroline Hardcastle, is a popular true crime columnist who does investigations of the mysterious events in the popular press. Funny, smart banter, some romance. Reading book 1 is not necessary to enjoy this book. Book 3 in series is scheduled March 2023.

Review: Cute story and a good start to a new to me series. I thought there was going to be a bigger fight with Asher's original pack but I'm kind of glad it was all over pretty quickly. I liked that the story stayed pretty low key. I'm really curious about Casper so I look forward to his book.

Review: I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would, based on some of my friends' reviews. I don't think it's a very faithful retelling of The Taming of the Shrew, but while I find that play hilarious, I don't think I would like to read of a modern woman being treated like that. So, overall, I thought it was okay, but I would have liked Pyotr to address Kate's disappointment in their wedding day.

Review: I liked the story line and I probably would have loved the book if it wasn't for Pip. Yep the main character. She wasn't my cup of tea at all. Way to immature. I started to like her about the last two chapters. I am intrigued enough to maybe read the next in the series just because from the end of this book it seems she may start to mature. Also I'm excited to read more about the vampire god.

Review: In this story written in 1996, we learn of the workings of the Underground Railroad through the perspective of Galen Vachon, a successful conductor known as "Black Daniel," and Hester Wyatt, who runs a Michigan stop on the escape route. The early part of book are rich with accurate historic detail on the operation of the Railroad. But the romantic story drags a bit in the books midsection.

Review:
I was a little disappointed in this book because I have loved Jennifer Ashley's historicals but the writing in this seem shallow. At times it seemed the book just skimmed over events as in a summary with no details. The first third or half I had to force myself to keep reading but about half-way through the action really started and it got much better. Still disappointed though in what I expected to be a better experience.

Benita - you just need to make sure the book you actually "read" is the book you link to in your posts.
When you click on the "add book/author" link and find the book you are reading, you can click on "other editions" right under the "Add" button. This gives you the list of all editions and you can add the correct version.
This is also the link I am referring to when asking for a broken link to the book. Same process - click on "Add" to get the link in your post then insert a * after the first bracket.

Review:
Even though this was short and not terribly active, it was still an interesting read. It was thought provoking to read about an adult character with autism learning to care about (physically and emotionally) children as well as how the experience affects him. It could probably have been it's own full-blown novel if the author really wanted to explore how having children affects both of the characters and their marriage. However, as it is, it's a sweet and uplifting read.

I liked this it was sweet and i liked the fact that the mc was native american which is unusual and i adored the children so all in all a great book

You can use any edition to qualify for your book but it must be at least 100 pages and match the page numbers that you post.
However if you read the audiobook, then use any of the other editions to post and match to the page numbers, since audio 'hours' won't work.
Hope this makes sense!
(The first edition Kindle is a requirement for Kat's RRRC challenges ~ the Bachelor and The Amazing Race.)

Review: Super cute. I'm not a huge fan of the tv show setting but luckily we didn't spend a lot of time there. We got a lot of time with the MCs together. I adored Charlie. He was definitely my favorite character. It was a new to me narrator and I thought he did a good job. I will be recommending this book to others in the future.

You should do separate posts for Selection and Completion. If you simply update your Selection post, it’s hard for the captain to find it, especially if it’s a post they’ve already seen so don’t notice the change. I just happened to see it and saw it said Completion. Also, you need to include a date you read it in your Completion, please.
