Up to chapter 12
(view spoiler)[I think that Anthony is not really dead, but I am a bit confused about the professors at Babel and the other student. I mean, it seems like the death is a sort of cover like it was for Griffin, or at least that's what I am thinking based on Victoire's reaction to it (and I am wondering why Robin is not linking Anthony and Griffin, since his brother told him that he did the same thing but whatever) but even if this is the case, the professors and the other students should be a little bit more... concerned? sorrry? something!!!
Anyway, I am quite glad that Robin decided to leave Griffin behind. Grifinn and Professor Lovell are so similar in the worst possible ways, and Robin does not deserves to be around such awful people! (hide spoiler)]

I am glad you have enjoyed it! To be honest, I am not really so taken by it. I was hoping to enjoy it more but so far it's not happening.

(view spoiler)[I am disappointed by this book. In part is because I was expecting to empathize or sympathize more with the characters and this didn't happen. But since I am a characters-driven kind of reader, well, this is a problem. And then there is the fact that the author tries too much to take her point home.
The magic system is amazing, and I loved the part about translations and etymology, it was like being back at the Uni for me, and I loved it, but that was in the first part of the book. The second half wasn't so fascinating anymore (hide spoiler)]
