Romance book where FMC is groped at party by past attacker and MMC pulls him off her

I only vaguely remember a scene in the book so it might be a spoiler... and I want to find it just because I CAN'T find it and I don't think I imagined the book; SO basically the fmc goes to a party (maybe a college party) and her past attacker 'finds her' (I think he was harassing her via texts) and pushes her against the wall and she is paralyzed in fear as he gropes her even gets a hand up her dress and rubs against her (sorry for the details but then I feel l'Il get similar scenes but not the right one) then the mmc gets him off her, but I don't think he knew what had happened to her before, yet.

In attempt to find this book I've re-read The Deal and Wait for You and the latter has a similar scene but it's not it, obviously... help please.
