I'm totally buried in work till Oct end. So I'm sorry that I can't join u all... just waiting for the season to end and join u guys back... miss u all!!!

All good on my end, looking forward to summer here haha...we had so much rain this winter, I want some sunshine.
Make a list of books you want us to read :)
Check in when you can!

And yes the book starts off really funny.

I like Eva's daughter Audre, she is sassy haha

Me and my husband have been binging Stranger Things so my reading time has dropped lol

But there is also a lot of unpacked issues in their past...curious to see what happened

absolutely love Audrey she's so mature.
but this book keeps getting emotional now. i feel really bad for them. I'm quite ahead so I don't want to spoil anything but when Eva talks about her previous generations absolutely enjoyed that part.

I'm at 40%, getting a bit more of their past and I am curious to find more about their back stories.
I can understand that they both came from difficult backgrounds and there is definitely a connection there even after so many years.
I do have to admit though that I'm not a huge fan of insta love in general lol But I do like both our main characters so far

Audre is definitely sassy too. I'm like halfway through it but I do enjoy it because it's a light read.

Can't remember the chapter number, but I left it at about 52% last night. I must say that I didn't expect what happened in the last chapter I read to happen that quickly...trying to be a bit vague lol

Its great you're fixing it up and yeah, at least that would be yours. I love to see the before and after photos of fixing a place up.
We actually don't own our place, but its included in my husband's contract, so thats a plus. We actually can't buy either at the moment cause we are not residents. We were planning to apply in 2020, then bloody Covid happened and they didn't take any residency applications until this year in March. So now, its a long waiting game lol

My parents arrive end of October, so just a little under 2 months, not long now

Congrats Courtney!! that sounds so nice! I would love to see as well!
Corina, is this going to be your first time seeing them again since the start of the pandemic?

They actually have only seen my little man through facetime cause he was born in 2020.
