Seven Days in June by Tia Williams

Also I'm half way through the book and ya I'm eagerly waiting for the reveal.
I went trekking yesterday so didn't get to read anything. It's exam season too for me so ya I'm actually glad to be reading a book steadily or else I've left so many books half way or have been reading just one book for the whole month.

To be honest, I don't miss exams at all haha
I do have a couple of half read books, but its mostly because I wasn't in the mood at the time lol

I did think the book was good. What did you think of the conflict in the end? That epilogue was quite long lol
Oh, not sure if Courtney finished...

I'll wait to share once Courtney lets us know if she's done haha.

Yeah, lets wait for Courtney
Btw, any thoughts on what to read next?

Have you guys finished stranger things yet?
I'm interested in reading a thriller, mystery, or fantasy next! I went back to our previous thread to see what you suggested before - I am interested in The Night Shift, Who is Maud Dixon, and An Ember in the Ashes! :) all 3 are available to me right now as well

I'm happy with any of those :)
I'll finish up The Burning God tomorrow I think, happy to start another fantasy. Also keen on Her majesty's royal coven or City of brass, but glad to pick whatever works for everyone. Or thriller, mystery would be good too :)

ooh City of Brass has also caught my eye!

Fingers crossed for a shorter wait.
City of Brass is Middle Eastern inspired with djinns and the likes I believe
An Ember in the Ashes is Roman inspired I think.
I'm happy with either or with any other suggestion :)

I've borrowed City of Brass, and put myself on the waiting list for an Ember in the Ashes (both in audiobook form). I have a physical copy of Ember but I think I'll be a lot slower at reading since I'll be a bit busy this week! I'm happy with either :)

Sounds good to me. I have City of Brass on my shelves and An Ember on my kindle :) I finished The Burning God last night so I can start anytime ;)

same with me! ready to begin whenever :) Courtney, which do you want to start with?

Nishita, top of my head, not sure if Babel is a stand alone or first book in a series. City of Brass and Ember are first books, but we can always pick a separate stand alone as well if you are not keen on those.

Tender is the Flesh- Dystopian
The Starless Sea/ The House in the Cerulean Sea- Fantasy
Sharp Objects- Thriller
Beach Read/The American Roomate Experiment- Romance
these are some standalone but please suggest some others too if you know any

Regarding the other books, I read Beach Read and The House in the Cerulean Sea, great reads :)
Tender is the flesh - I dont really read horror to be honest and this one sounds maybe a bit too disturbing for me
The Starless Sea - honestly I was disappointed by The Night circus so I'm not really in a hurry to pick this one up
The American Roomate Experiment - hasn't yet been published here
Sharp Objects - tried reading it a while back and couldn't get into it, so I put it down
Sorry....maybe Bella or Courtney are keen for one of those.
Otherwise I do have a few more standalones on my shelves and kindle so we can keep looking :)

I read Book Lovers and loved it :)
And I have You Made a Fool as well, so we can read that too
When do we want to start and which one? Which one do you have Courtney?

But I won't spoil anything
