Christine | 1 comments Hi, I am a Goodreads librarian but can't seem to figure out how to do this. My professor Rick Kennedy recently published a new book, Winds of Santa Ana: Pilgrim Stories of the California Bight. You can view information about him at the following website, which also contains a link to his CV where his publications are listed:
https://www.pointloma.edu/faculty/ric...

When I added his book to my shelf, I clicked on his author profile and noticed that it is a conglomeration of books written by 2 other Rick Kennedys as well. The books about life in Tokyo and Japan are by another Rick Kennedy who I found information about here:
https://www.encyclopedia.com/arts/edu...

The books GE Aviation: 100 Years of Reimagining Flight, Jelly Roll, Bix, and Hoagy: Gennett Studios and the Birth of Recorded Jazz, and Little Labels- Big Sound are all by yet another Rick Kennedy, who I found information about at this link: https://blog.geaviation.com/100-year-...

So in total, there appear to be 3 Rick Kennedys that are shown in 1 profile on Goodreads. It wouldn't let me disambiguate since their names are the same, so how might I go about doing this? Thanks!

Scott | 11190 comments I have moved his book to a new profile along with another that appears to be his. (I saw other books on his web site relating to Cotton Mather.)

To disambiguate authors we add extra space(s) before their last name. Your professor will be the one with three spaces between his first and last name, so if you find any more of his books on Goodreads, you can move them.
