Chapter 5
(view spoiler)[ Everything feels a bit too predictable! Like him becoming her assessor, the fire, the parents and now her being kicked out of her apartment. I understand it's a rom - com read but i do like a bit of a twist but this is all just too easy!

Also, if i was in Liz's position i would be so pissed off! I understand her dad deserves happiness but to bombard her at dinner with a random woman not to just say you are dating but to be getting MARRIED! And to make it worse.... on the mums anniversary just feels like such a betrayal! There is a way to go about things and what both the parents did was not it!!! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 19
(view spoiler)[ Arghh that Halloween party was hilarious! I just wish they would do it rather than always be 2 seconds away from it! Also, it's so obvious Peter has a huge hard on for Liz!
I do love how Tom is going out of his way to make Liz available! Telling everyone about the flats she was interested in, blocking guys on tinder! I mean if that's not invested i don't know what is! 🤣
Still not blown away by this book unless something big happens then it's going to probably be 3 stars! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Okay so i literally zoomed through that last bit just because i wasn't really feeling it! I did love how Jenny turned the house into a foster care home! That was really sweet and the fact that she did it to honour Liz's mum was so sweet! I'm glad everyone got their happy ending but honestly i really wasn't invested enough in this story to give it anything above 3 stars! (hide spoiler)]
