i think Project Hail Mary works - has space as a genre and the description alludes to him being on a spaceship of some type
Lisa wrote: "Endurance: A Year in Space, A Lifetime of Discovery by Scott KellyWould this work?"
It looks like it describes his time aboard the ISS, but does it come down to at least half the book?
Dee wrote: "i think Project Hail Mary works - has space as a genre and the description alludes to him being on a spaceship of some type"Go ahead with it, and enjoy the book!
Meg wrote: "Not sure if this will meet the setting criteria, but can you lock in the genre? Seveneves"Done. Happy reading!
Bea wrote: "I've been wanting to read Old Man's War for a while. I think it fits here. Agree?"Agreed. Have fun with it, and let me know what you think - I've only read Scalzi's Redshirts.
Amy wrote: "Can you please approve Space Murder which has Space > Space Opera last on the genre list? Thanks!"Done :)

"It does, yes. In fact I might be reading it for this task as well.
I'm wondering about using The Warrior's Apprentice. Its definitely covered for Space > Space Opera. From the description, I think it's also covered from the 50% in space/on a spaceship/on a space station, but I wanted to check whether you agree, or whether I'll just have to confirm or otherwise after I've read it.

It definitely seems like it's set mainly in space/spaceship. Go ahead with it, and enjoy the book :)

Yes, I reread that recently and it's over 50% on spaceships.

Photos of space have always been ethereal, and the world is enchanted with the photos that the James Webb telescope takes; most recently astronauts used the telescope to take a direct image of a planet outside our solar system. You can see all the photos here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/nasaweb...
In honour of the beauty that the James Webb telescope gives us, and the hope of exploring strange new worlds (get it?), read a book with a main page genre that contains "space", such as Space, Space Travel, or Space Opera that is set at least 50% in space on a space station (an orbiting artificial structure) or spaceship.
