John Woods | 10 comments I am hoping i am not violating the TOS here or something. I am an avid reader and Audible listener and recently Audible was highlighting a new book in a series and with it there was an interview between the Author and the Narrator who apparently narrates all of his books. I was fascinated by this... but apparently not so much so to put it on my wishlist. I have been through all the New Sci-fi/Fantasy books listed as well as looked for the interview to see if i could find this but my google-fu is failing me today.
Anyway, the story takes place in two sets... the first trilogy is set hundreds (a thousand?) years before the first. Dealing largely with a specific (Royal?) family. The author describes his elves as not being overly smart, or rather not the Wisest as many authors do, because they often take their immortality for granted with the "I'll get to it later" feeling.
The second (Trilogy?) has only two of the three books out so far as I know. It follows the same family many many years later and tells the story at this age in time. There may be another book, a novella or something, explaining the gap in time but on this I am not sure. I know these each are one-word titles but... that's as far as I got. I know this is not enough to truly go on but I hope HOPE it's enough to find some assistance.
I would really like to try this series out as something not so mainstream... so if anyone can help me figure this out I would be incredibly grateful.

John, your topic header must contain genre and plot details. Right now we can't even tell is this is fiction or nonfiction.

We close threads with vague headers, so please ADD genre and plot details to your HEADER.

Julie (onetrooluff) | 90 comments Try Googling Michael J. Sullivan Tim Reynolds interview - AudibLe did a "behind the scenes" interview between them regarding Sullivan's book Nolyn. I can't link anything because I'm using the app, sorry.
