PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL
What you need: - Adobe Photoshop CS 3 and up
- A .gif file (I'll show you how to make one by yourself from a video later)
And follow these instructions
Create new canvas to work with
Open a .gif file. Now, I made this plain gif myself and it has 40 frames, so when you open it in photoshop, you'll hale 40 layers to work with, and only the first frame will be unlocked. Leave it that way.
Select all layers and combine them into a group.
Make few adjustments. Make sure they're above the layer group
Create a new layer above of adjustments.
The easiest thing to work with is with brushes. If you use a lot of brushes, separate them into different layers so you can edit them later or re-arrange them.
Add some texts
Change the text into overlay
Click 'Save for Web'
Click 'Save'Congratulations! Now your GIF is ready.

Yes, it's the lyric from that music video"
1 point for Jacob for guessing! I knew that line sounded familiar
HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN GIF
What you need:
- A video
- Photo Scape
- GOM Player
And now follow these instructions
Open the video with GOM Player. Right click, and choose 'Advanced Screen Capture. Make sure that the video is still playing.
Fill everything exactly like this. And then click 'Burst Capture' when the part that you want to make into a gif starts. When it's done, close GOM Player.
Open Photo Scape, select the frames you want to make into a gif, adjust the time and size. When you're done, click save.
Meld (#madewithmeld) Graphic Tutorial
Okay, so this is a tutorial for Meld. This is a really cool application that allows you to blend two-four pictures. You can get it in Google Play Store, if you use Android, or App Store for iOS. This is so much easier if you have a tablet or big smartphone. For me, I use a small one, Sony Xperia L.
What you need:
- Meld app
- Pictures
Follow these instructions
Open Meld, and choose your primary image.
Swipe from the left corner to the right and add more image by touching the + box.
You can add your own image to this layer, but right now, I'll show you the pack instead.
Choose whatever you like.
Once you choose it, you can edit it like you want. You can make it smaller, bigger, rotate it, move it, y'know, it's all by your fingers.
You can erase it here. Be sure that you're working on the upper layer, not the background one.
Make few adjustments
Save it.
With Meld, you can add up to three more layers excluding the background.
I'm not sure, since it's beta, probably only featured the basic.
