Jen (jentrewren) | 1124 comments This was not the book I expected from the reviews I had read nor a book I would ever have chosen if I had know what it really was.
The few parts I enjoyed were the parts which I had expected the whole book to be ie the parts about hiking the PCT. I tried to read this multiple times over 2 years and only forced myself to complete it because I had paid for it. If I had borrowed it from the library it would have been a DNF because it is just not the type of book I like reading or about a person I can relate to on any level. So much complaining and blaming others, she had it so easy compared to many

Peacejanz | 1015 comments I felt the same way - only a few pages for me. Thank goodness, I did borrow it from the library. Thanks for your review. peace, janz

I agree with you totally. I was sorry for the time I spent reading about this extremely unlikable and self-centered person.

Exactly ......I was trying to be nice in my review. But wow way too much blame game and woe is me. Needs to experience a bit of what a difficult life really is.
