How do you organize your bookshelf?

I don’t have my new bookshelf yet so I put them in order of how I read them

i have the books I read together and the ones I haven't read together as well. I try to place them in the order I read but if for some reason it doesn't look beautiful I change them around a little bit.

i just organized mine to make them all pintresty and aesthetically pleasing but they’re mostly organized by genre/author within that genre :))

i put all of my books from the same author together, but otherwise it’s purely spur of the moment. 🥰
