Tess risked her life to save Vin Murphy, getting herself imprisoned for indecency. What did you fear was going to happen to her?

[Robin]

I was afraid she would "disappear" and no one would figure out where she was being held.

[Sharon]

I was afraid for her life too. I also thought that she might become someone's concubine before the team rescued her.

[Lauren]

I knew she would be rescued, but was concerned about what would happen to her until then. I cannot stand books that resort to the rape trope to "strengthen" the heroine. It's codswallop!

[Jonetta]

I feared she’d be raped, too. She might have been but they knew she was a married woman part of a relief effort and it gave them pause. But, the team knew she was on a short timeline. The police knew they’d try to find her and did what they could to delay that.

[Anita]

She was definitely in a bad situation, but she did have some things that helped protect her. She had her cover as a married relief worker. She was also very smart and didn't cause any disruption. She stayed under their notice as much as possible until Nash found and rescued her.
