After avoiding Nash’s advances for months, Tess decides to sleep with him after leaving the strip club. Was that adrenaline or some other reason?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Tess had obviously been mooning over Nash for a long time. She had looked up information about him, some of which was confidential. When he showed interest in her, she was more than interested.

I think Nash liked her, but really wasn't serious about any type of relationship. He knew he was leaving the job and probably wouldn't see her again.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3484 comments Tess had to be hopped up on adrenaline. She had an opportunity to be in the middle of an op, even if it wasn't a sanctioned. There were also the vibes that Nash sent that he was interested in her. Tess could resist Nash in the office, but he was more captivating away from the office.

I believe they were both attracted to each other all along. However, Tess could ignore the attraction as inappropriate for her job advancement goals. Nash continues to play his part of only being interested in being a love them and leave them guy to keep him from considering anything more.

I’m betting on the adrenaline side as Tess knew he was a player among the office support staff and didn’t want to go there. She didn’t want to be part of that club so her sleeping with him surprised me until she shared her rationale. This was some kind of reward to herself but she hadn’t counted on him sharing so much of himself.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1811 comments I am sure it was a mix of adrenaline and attraction. She saw the opportunity to get what she wanted and took it.

@Jonetta - I think they were both quite shocked at Nash's openness with Tess that night. It scared Nash so much he ran as far and as fast as he could.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I agree the adrenaline spike gave them both the push they needed to act on their mutual attraction. I'm not so sure that either of them would have taken it any farther that an office flirtation if this situation hadn't happened.
