I've recently noticed that I don't get notifications anymore for comments on my reviews. I know I used to. I can click on "Notify me when people comment" most other places in GoodReads, but I don't see that anywhere with Reviews. Am I just looking in the wrong place to activate them, are are notifications no longer possible when there are comments on reviews?

I don't know but somebody commented on one of my reviews a couple of days ago and I got a notification about it.my settings look like this
" Comment and Action Notifications
You will receive alerts according to these preferences unless you have changed your preference for an individual discussion, which you can do at the bottom of any comments section.
When someone on Goodreads:
Comments on my book reviews
I want to get: a notification"
Ugh, signing up for notifications seems to be no guarantee of actually GETTING notifications in Goodreads-land anymore! I've been having trouble with all sorts of notifications since the start of 2021. You have my sympathies.
I only get some (not all) notifications when someone comments on Austenesque Lovers TBR. I believe I am getting notifications when someone comments on one of my reviews or a status update.
I have also found I am not getting all the notifications.Could it be related to the "upgrades" they are doing to the website?
(I am still using the old format, didn't like their new version)
Another issue that seems to have cropped up lately is GR randomly logs me out more often although I have chosen "remember me"

Thank you! It took me a while to find my Account Settings page, but once I got to that, the rest was easy.
