Well Olivia, lots of people are still Twi-Hards out there. Just look at the sites, fanfics, quizzes and everything else.

So your answer to the question is......drum roll please.......YES!!! Alot of peoplevstill love Twilight.

Nikki Has anyone found anything else they liked that was similar to the twilight series? I've not found something that I like that I connect as well as I did with the twilight series not that I have a vampire or werewolf boyfriend, well least I don't think I do hmmm he does go out a lot at night .. ;)

Welllllllll...... I think if you want something like the Twilight series you should try the Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley Armstrong. It has only mentions of vampires though, alot more werewolves.

As for you boyfriend, LOL. But he'd better not be cheating if he's always out or youd better pound him girl. :p!

I think she wrote it to make people see that he is not completely dangerous and that he has a soft and delicate side.....well, that or she was trying to recreate the dream that inspired twilight completely, right down to Eddies outfit.

If you want my opinion on how it turned out, I think it failed because Vampires and sun........ come on Steph, you could do better! it was like 'I thought he was supposed to be scary! Nobody sparkles!'

if you were to read the guide book, it shows that about a kagillion years ago, the Volturi made up classification methods for vampires (fangs, burns in the sun.....). In the Twilight universe, they must have carried on that information and put it into shows.

yeah.
it was because the Romanian coven ruled the world and had exposed vampirism to the world. Aro didn't like it so he assembled the Volturi and they overthrew them with Jane and Alec. The battle took around a century and the only ones left were Stephan and Vladimir, they are forever hateful towards the Volturi for killing their mates and coven.
after the Romanians were destroyed, they made up rules and superstitions to make humans forget about their existence such as burning in the sun, fangs, being stabbed by steak, yada yada yada....
so yeah, there you have it.

Mackenzie Thanks for asking yall. I know if kind of created this but I have a question for you. Okay, so you know how some discussions are filled to the brim with comments? Yeah well why arent mine? I'm new to this whole goodreads thing so can you help a girl out??????

It really depends on what the subject is. A subject that is more likely to spark strong opinions will attract more discussion. "Answers to your questions..." while nice, isn't very controversial, ya know?

People generally like to express opinions or to answer a question on a subject, not ask questions. And if someone does ask a question they generally prefer to get different opinions on the answer and not just an answer from one person.

Your opening post is basically getting other people to come up with something to talk about, rather than you leading a discussion.

Well Nuran, I love your point, but my other discussions seem to have no comments either. And I have also seen others from other people that have no comments either. Is it because of my amout of friends or followers, or is it just the subject.
