Peni | 1677 comments Are you going to add the descriptions? I didn’t check but were the two records also combined?

Liralen | 8224 comments Combined the stray editions; working on the descriptions.

For descriptions, it's helpful to include a link (e.g. to the Amazon page), especially when there are multiple description requests.

Peni | 1677 comments I' ve been putting a copy in when it is a single book but this one had so much I was concerned about overcomplicating it. Also it took awhile to put what I did together. It's not like I'm the author or publisher. I'm a read who uses Goodreads to kerp track of my stories & reviews. I also use it when deciding what to read next (if there isn't a description, that decision is difficult especially if the book is no longer published bt Kindle and/or other distributors.

Thank you.

Liralen | 8224 comments I do understand, and please don't take the comment as criticism :) I also want descriptions in place when I'm considering what to read next! Just noting that it makes the work much quicker for volunteer librarians if we don't have to go searching for information—which often means that in turn someone will complete the request sooner. (I'm a bit less in the Book Issues folder at the moment, but if you've been copying the description into the request, thank you—it really is helpful.)

Peni | 1677 comments I understand you are volunteering and I really do appreciate it. I will do what I can. I'm not certain how to link an Amazon page into the discussion. I could ha e then at least have linked the author as she doesn’t have many books out apart from the series I referred to.

Liralen | 8224 comments Copy-pasting the URL is a good way to do it (takes a little more effort on mobile, I think, but still doable), but copying the description in works too. If there's a functional series page on Amazon, a URL to that can also work, as then it's possible to see descriptions for multiple books at once.

So much order to bring to Goodreads pages, so little time :)
