Challenge CompleteKey Word-- Case
Title--The Case of the Wandering Scholar
Author--Kate Saunders
This is #2 in a new series for me. Laetitia Rodd is a widow in Victorian England with a knack for gathering information and solving mysteries. Lots of English countryside and Victorian society, but with issues that are relevant today. A great cozy mystery.
Challenge Compete!Word - Breath
Book - Her Last Breath by Hilary Davidson
A good twisty thriller, told from two perspectives; the main character and the main suspect. Money, greed, status (or lack of it), lies, and toxic family relationships. It’s got it all.
Challenge complete. I couldn't find something that I wanted to read with those keywords, so I just read my little boy a book with the keyword of case. The book I read him was called Chase's Space Case. He's 5 and absolutely loves Paw Patrol

SO cute!! I remember those days. My younger daughter loved Henry and Mudge books. Henry and Mudge - The First Book
Challenge complete. A 3*** star read for me.Key Word: Day
Title: Ten Days in a Mad-House
Author: Nellie Bly
The strange case of the Alchemist's daughter, by Theodora Goos Highly recommended. Not a happy family by Shari Lapena. An average book
JoAnne, I'll have to see if I can find those and try them. Out of my 3 kids, my youngest one is really the only book lover. We are currently reading Charlotte's Web.
Completed!Case: A Case of Two Cities by Qiu Xiaolong
#4 in the series Inspector Chen which takes place in Shanghai. I listen to the audio on these translated books. I'd never be able to come close to reading the characters names without listening to it.

My younger daughter's second grade teacher bought each child a copy of Charlotte's Web and they read it together in class. I think she does it each year. :)

LIE All the Best Lies Joanna Schaffhausen 8/8/22
BREATH Last Breath Rachel Caine 8/15/22
