Color By Number Reading Challenge

[Asia | Adventures with Asia Minor, Creator, Head Mod, Book Nerd #1]

Who doesn't love some easy coloring?

For this challenge, you will read books to "color" a coloring page. Each book will contribute 1 color. I have available 2 different coloring pages that you can download and print yourself. Feel free to share the completed page(s) in your respective thread.

END: August 31, 2022

Rules

1. You will work on your own to read 3 to 4 books to "color" your chosen coloring page(s).

2. While there is no set books you must read, there are guidelines, based on the coloring page.

3. Each color has an associated number. Once you read a book with that challenge number, you can color your color page with the associated color. Post your completed coloring page in your own thread when completed.

4. One book, one prompt.

5. You will have the entire month of August to complete the challenge.

Challenge Prompts

1. Brown
・ Read a book that mentions trees, nature, etc.
・ Read a book that mentions taking care of the earth.

2. Blue
・ Read a book that takes place on the sea.

3. Yellow
・ Read a book about hope.
・ Read a book about the sun or stars.

4. Red
・ Read a book where a character is ambitious and/or driven.

Where can I find the coloring pages?
» They are linked in the comment above and in this comment.

Where can I find the reading prompts?
» If you click on the coloring page, it'll take you to a coloring page with numbers on it. The number corresponds to a color.
» Each number also corresponds to a challenge, which I've put the challenges above. You can read any book that fits the prompt.
» For example, from the Ship & Ducky coloring page, Challenge 1 the color brown. You should read a book that mentions trees, nature, taking care of the earth, or the like.

How do I know if a book counts?
» A book counts if it is finished between the challenge dates! It must also fulfill one prompt.

Can mods participate?
» Yes, mods are allowed to participate! There is no advantage for mods.
