Hey mimi thank you for your suggestion. I read the book and I loved it. Rion's inferiority complex, the angst of their misunderstandings- everything flowed together so beautifully. He says he has never moved on, but there is no definite statement in the book that he has been celibate is there? His rival election candidate also mentions how everyone knows that the hero has has a different woman in his bed for every day of the week. Even when they talk about how the heroine never slept with others, there is no talking of Rion's activities during the separation? His backstory was so heart-warming though with his twin, Jason. The rating in GR is a bit misleading, should be higher :)

Really? Well, I guess I just assumed that he had been celibate all this time. I'm happy that you still liked it.
I just finished Lovers Not Friends and the hero clearly says he has been celibate since she left him. The thing is though, the separation was three months long, so I don't really count that as some kind of feat hehe. Also, not the best book I've read this week, so beware.
If I ever come accross something else that fit your description, I'll be sure to let you know.

That's great. Thank you, mimi!
