I'm thinking of rereading this book this month. I'm not sure yet, but I'm attracted by the idea if reading it again.. I've already read it 2 times this year, but I just live it so much.. Idk.

I totally agree about the cover! Covers with real people are usually just meh, but I love this one! And I really love his many books by Kazuo Ishiguro have a similar design, and the overall (if somebody owns all the books in this edition) is so pretty! Like, it's a series or something.. look at them:
ok ive started it but only on pg 37 and liking it so far! But also im highly confused. (view spoiler)
@Willow I'm really sorry but I'll have to ask you to hide your comment on a spoiler tag... (ofc you can keep your first phrase out since it doesn't contain any spoilers). I know it's just page 37, so that's not really serious spoilers, but I understand that someone might not want to know these things before starting the book..
And about your questions.. well, everything will be eventually answered. Just keep reading :)) But I totally get how you feel, I was that confused too when I first started the book :)
Not a problem at all! Im so sorry, i just didnt even think about it, but i definitely dont wanna ruin it for anyone else, so thank you!
I have completed the first part of the book and honestly i cannot wait to finish this book, I am totally confused of some things relating Hailsham and stuff. But overall, till now it has been a happy read..
I'm so glad you both seem to like (or at least be interested to) the book so far! Enjoy reading it :))
To be totally honest, I haven't really decided yet XD There are some other books which I want to read, but I miss this one so much.. Idk, really. I'm mostly a mood reader, so I might suddenly start it out of nowhere jut because I felt a strong nostalgia for it. So, I'll see... :)
I finished! Even tho it wasnt my favorite book, im still glad i read it :) heres my review w a few more of my thoughtshttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Oh, I'm sorry it was just a 2 stars read for you. Now I feel a bit bad for recommending it... Anyway, I'll read your full review to see your opinion :)

Oh, I'm..."
No dont feel bad at all! Im still glad i read it, and there were definitely parts that i liked about it. The writing was my favorite part, and how it ebbed and flowed plotwise just like the waves on the shore of a lake, i just loved that. I feel really bad that i didnt love it as much as you, and i definitely dont want to disparage one of your favorites! but i really did try to love it, i think that it just wasnt my thing. Im still open to trying other books by him tho :)

Well, I'm happy you liked some parts of it! I totally agree about the writing! I love so much how it does not move chronologically. Don't feel bad for not liking it that much! Not all books are for everyone! I totally understand that it just wasn't your cup of tea :)
