Or does anyone else think that this book is a bit under appreciated? It shocked me when I when I went along to one of Rainbow's book signings and she mentioned that Attachments wasn't very well known. I completely adore all of her books but personally I prefer Attachments to her most popular book Eleanor and Park! For me there's just something really relatable about Lincoln. And I love, love, love the e-mail exchanges between Beth and Jennifer :)

Varsha, go read Eleanor and Park. It was REALLY good, but not as good as Fangirl. I LOVED THIS BOOK(!!!!) EVEN THOUGH I REALLY HATE THE NAME LINCOLN. seriously guys, don't you think Lincoln isn't the best name? When i hear this name i just think of our 16th president.
I guess one of the reasons it was a bit appreciated was because of how short it was.

I completely agree, such a fantastic book and a fun read. No idea why it isn't more popular when it's easily one of the best from Rainbow. Yeah, the emails between Beth and Jennifer are such a highlight!

I agree with you Annaliese in fact i have read all her books except Eleanor & Park and i LOVE Attachments more than Fangirl or Landline. It is very underrated.

Do you think maybe it's because the subject matter and the characters are a little more mature? Both Fangirl and Eleanor & Park are teenagers in high school or just beginning college, so most YA readers are probably going to gravitate to those stories. Landline came after the popularity of all the others, so that helped it.
I really enjoyed this book. Not one of my all-time faves, but definitely an enjoyable and compelling read.

I do think this book is under appreciated, but in all fairness I wouldn't have looked at this book if I hadn't read Eleanor and Park. I just wished I found Attachments sooner. I really enjoyed Attachments more.

I agree!! I AM SO IN LOVE WITH LINCOLN, IT'S CRAZY.

I really like this book. Its not just about Lincoln being in love with Beth but as too discover himself. Its shows more about Lincoln change his life for better and Beth comes with it.
