I'm actually open to trying different genres, but I have a tendency choose mystery/thrillers, horror, and crime drama. But really, I just can go along reading any type of book that catches my interest. :)

Good luck Kathryn! Don't worry we understand. That's why we all signed up just for fun :) I'm also very busy with work and wish I could have more time to read. :(
Real life's the priority! Carry on dear!
Hey guys, I'm adding a new member to your team as two of your members haven't checked in, her name is Miranda ☺
Hi guys! I'm Maya. I was previously a part of F2. I am currently reading City of Fallen Angels as a buddy read. I am also reading The Spectacular Now and The Elite. On the 15th I am doing a buddy read with two other girls from F2 for Cinder (the first book in the lunar chronicles) if any of you wanna join us :)Also do you mind if I add y'all as friends?
Hmm, this is odd have we now changed our name to team fun? Lol I was looking through the team threads to add my review stuff and couldn't find f1 but my info seems to be here and on the other so I guess a change of name? Am I a bit oblivious to these things? lol
They've merged the two "for fun" teams, Nikki, so both of the f1 and f2 threads are gone and instead there's one "fun team' review thread and chat thread. :)
all my hard stuff for college is done so im back to reading more. i had started IT by stephen king but in gonna leave it as its over 1300 pages. starting a graphic novel today its 120 pages so hopefully i will get that done fast. i couldnt figure out how to start a thread for a buddy read me and computers do not get on :)
Sorry for the confusion Nikki, we explained what we were doing on the main challenge thread, but I should probably have explained it here too. We're trying to increase the team sizes to give you all a bit more of a chance against us chasers.
That's ok Sarah I thought as much, I don't seem to be checking all the notifications lol my own fault entirely. But least I know I'm in the right place now lol
We had to have a bit of a brainstorm last night to try and even things up a bit. We'll see how it goes!
@Charliy I'm about half way through. It's not as good as the first three that Clare wrote but it's still pretty dang good!
@Charliy it's a great series! After I'm done with TMI, I plan to read The Infernal Devices by her. A lot of people has said that TID is better than TMI. If that's the case then I'll probably be up all night reading them! I really like Cassandra Clare and I'm happy you are enjoying The Mortal Instruments :)
Maya, have you checked the reading order for TMI and TID? Cassandra Clare recommends reading them by publication date, so you should read clockwork angel, then city of fallen angels, then clockwork Prince, then city of lost souls, then clockwork princess and then city of heavenly fire. There are some things that cross over a bit. Also, characters from TID show up in city of heavenly fire, and I had no clue what was happening with them because I hadn't read clockwork princess first.
Damn Sarah why couldn't she just release them in the order they were meant to be read I was starting a re read on these and have re read: city of bones, city of ashes so I've gone all wrong lol
Not a problem ☺ I found it a bit weird that they're supposed to be read in pubication order as well, and I never expected the characters for TID to show up in city of heavenly fire!
@sarah huh I did not know that. Maybe I'll give that a try. I usually read the entire series first and then the next series and then the next series and so on and so on

I usually do that too. I got a bit confused at the end of city of heavenly fire though, because tessa turned up, and I hadn't read clockwork princess, so i didn't understand some of the things going on .
