What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

► UNSOLVED: One specific book > Read around 2010, book of Interesting Facts. I remember it had a page of German chess terms like "zwischenzug". Thought the title ended with "and other miscellany". It's not Schott's Original Miscellany, though the style and formatting are similar.

Jennifer | 7 comments It also had a paragraph that had an ancient letter from the sun god of the East to the prince of the west. It looks so much like Schott's Original miscellany that I have electronically paged through that several. I'm not sure about some of his other works. I really thought the title ended with "and other miscellany" because I remember thinking that word was funny and using it a lot. But I searched through book titles and didn't find anything.

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5545 comments Schott's Original Miscellany does contain a list of chess terms (not all German), including "zwischenzug" - it's on p. 113 - you're sure it's not that?
