Will the newest edition replace the older 1s by default?

Hello there, recently I re-published my 1st book w/ a new edition

Today I've gone back to its GoodReads page & updated it by adding a new edition. Will the new eBook & PaperBack replace the original eBook?

Such as: New description, new cover, etc..

No, the new edition is the new edition. It doesn't replace anything.

You can find instructions for setting it as default in the Help section.

Found it! It's simply in the "Edit Details", then on the right hand side there's a little blue text to select for setting it as the default edition. Cheers!
