There was this grunge feeling to the cover, it was gray/black with maybe a timer or lock as the sole subject. MC might have been a high schooler? I remember her and her group of friends finding this high tech building hidden deep in the forest, they didn't encounter anyone in it so I suppose it might have been abandoned. Locals suffered from economic issues and started stealing due to the flood.
