For authors - how to put your amazon book on Barnes and Nobel

I wonder if authors out there have some hints. I'm self-published on Kindle Direct Publishing/Amazon. I want to add my book to Barnes and Nobel.
I uploaded my contents - no problem. But my cover on Amazon is exact size of book - i.e., front is 8x5. BN wants cover to be 8.125 x 5.12 or some such. How to do that? Why is it bigger than the book size? Any info/ideas would be appreciated.
