David Jones | 9 comments Help- not sure of this is a suitable group but need someone to help me find a long lost childhood book!

I’m asking for books instead of cards for my daughter when she’s born with a special message from the senders …

The book I’m looking for was from my childhood so early 2000’s but not sure if this is when it was published,I’ve googled top 200 books from 1970-2010’s but nothing!

Author- unknown

The book was landscape and had a little girl in a bluebell field and her toy rabbit on the cover

The story is she’s on a walk one day and looses the teddy, some real bunnies find it and take care of it and fix it up after a rain storm, the girl and her mum look for it and find it the next day all fixed!

Please can someone help me find the book? I’ve done the obvious googling and eBay/Amazon search but nothing! I had this book in my parents collection but they can’t find it and I’d love to get one and ask my parents to write a message for her in it!

If this isn’t a suitable group I apologise and would ask for group recommendations where to ask!

Just to double check, do you mean lullaby or lullby? and was it in english? The only book that comes to mind is The Velveteen Rabbit

David Jones | 9 comments Hi yes it was in English but not the velveteen rabbit. I have searched all over the internet for the same sort of cover and story line but have hit a brick wall.

Click the small "edit" link after the header. This works on the desktop version of the site.

RainysPlanet (rainysplanet) | 4 comments you also mentioned a collection, do you mean the book was a part of a series or just a collection of random books.
also was it a short story, illustrated?

Is that the specific spelling? Or, lullaby?

message 8: by David (new)

David Jones | 9 comments I thought it was lullby but I have googled that so much and nothing

It sounds like a cute book with the real rabbits caring for the toy one.
Unfortunately, there are soooo many rabbit/bunny/hoppy books out there!
It may turn up in time. Come back and bump your post every month or so.

message 13: by David (new)

David Jones | 9 comments Similar yeah but unfortunately not the one, hopefully the more people that read this one of them might know the story. I’m on a mission to find it now…

Sirvantes | 180 comments A long shot, but with a similar story line: Tom Rabbit by Martin Waddell

message 16: by David (new)

David Jones | 9 comments Both very good stories and similar but this was a little girl that had her rabbit fixed by the real rabbits. It will be amazing if this community can find the book.
