SOLVED. YA Fantasy. Small Town with hidden secrets, group of large stones. [s]

This book is about a girl from small village who enters another world through a hole in a rock, the rock is in a circle of other large stones. The girl walks between the stone with the hole, I think she was transported into another realm or something came through I can’t remember. She’s never left her village and she has to venture out on horseback to another small village but everyone there is strange. This is from 2005-2010 there about. Thanx for the help!

I first thought of The Doors of Eden by Adrian Tchaikovsky as its about a girl who travels through some stones and ends up in another world or planet.
though i dont remember a horse. I hope this helps maybe? if not good luck anyway!

Glitter, was this an ebook (Kindle)? Or library book? You read it 2005-2010 - do you think it was newly published in that time, or could it be older and you just read it then? :)

I read the book on an ereader, I haven’t purchased a physical book in ages. Probably since 1997ish. I’m trying to go through ALL my kindle and kobo books trying to figure it out. I’ve started a yearly list now for all the books I read each year with a brief description, because I’m so awfully terrible at remembering names. Weather it be the author or the main characters I’m useless.

I’ve been trying to remember more of the book, the main character lived in a small village that wasn’t very technically advanced. No phones, computers etc. She lived in her home with her parents and I believe an older sibling and younger sister. She would help with the farm chores stuff like that. The adults would have a biannually gathering in a clearing with the stones.

FINALLY I found it! I only have the second book in the series, not sure how that happened but Amazon isn’t selling either right now. So I’ll have to look elsewhere for the first book. It’s the Stone Portals series by Jamie McHenry. Thank you for all your help. I’ve found some new books I’d love to get into.
