Can I add my own book to a listopia list?

Hi there,

I'm not sure I understand the rules, so thought I'd ask. I have a book, Bradley and the Dinosaur.. and I notice there's a list here on Listopia for 213 dinosaur picture books. I notice my book is not on it.. and there's a suggestion that 'anyone can add to this list'.

Is it ok for me to add my own book to lists here? That would be a great way for people to hear about books, especially if they fit the list category. However, I'm concerned that this might be conisidered something that only 'readers' are allowed to do.

Any help/advice here would be greatly appreciated! How do other authors get their books on lists here?

No. Lists are maintained by readers, there are strict rules against authors trying to add their books to lists.

Your reply confirms what I suspected, and that's why I thought I'd ask the question here first.

Ahh... shame.. so the readers will have to find out about my book some other way... :)
