This is for books written for 13 year old and older (think High School and College grades).

With summer just about over, let's end it with a bang and a theme of a "Summer-y" read. Before nominating, please take effort to research the book it for its cleanliness aspect. We will take 10 nominations to the voting poll.

Along with your book nomination, please tell us WHY you chose this book and HOW it has a summer feel to it. There are NO wrong reasons, we just want to get you talking and involved. Who knows, your book may win in the polls.

Nominating The Distance Between Us by Kasie West.

I didn't know this was a part of a series and apparently I read the second book. XD I would love to read this one though! I think all of Kasie West's books are sweet, light-hearted fun summer reads.

Madison McAuley | 25 comments Celtic Run About a group of teens and their adventures while on summer school trip to Ireland. Good, clean action/adventure story with a little bit of mystery.

McKayla Brooke (soulfullofsunshine) | 117 comments I’ll nominate counting to perfect by Suzanne lefluer. This book is a slightly younger read but I love that the family is dysfunctional and it focuses on relationships and building them back up, takes place during summer as a young girl her older sister, and her baby niece travel across the country to get away from the stress of home.

Bethany Esler | 56 comments I nominate The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies. This one is also a younger read but looks really good!

Thanks for nominating, Bethany. However, this book seems more suited to the -12 BOTM read. I'll move it there for your convenience :).

Johanna ♡ | 5 comments Hello! I’d like to nominate Love and Other Great Expectations by Becky Dean! It’s a light-hearted, clean romance novel about a scavenger hunt in England. All in all it sounds like a great one for summer!
