Hi there! It seems you're looking for a developmental editor. I would love to work on your book. An MM (light) fantasy dark romance novel with a dash of the forbidden love trope sounds right up my alley.

It can be a little tricky balancing world-building with descriptive prose and somehow not letting it become too verbose—so that you don't lose your reader. I will give recommendations on your plot structure and flow, character development, mark up irrelevant and confusing dialogue, and also give feedback on the overall readability of your draft.

My all-time favourite dark romance novel is The Dare by Harley Laroux. The characters were as straight as chalk, but the boldness and depravity of their actions made it a very memorable read.

Alternatively, if you're looking for a kickass beta-reader to give you honest, constructive feedback on your draft, it would be a pleasure to read your book. I have been analysing manuscripts for a little over three years and can confidently say that I've got a sense for what's working and finding areas that need to be tweaked.
