Sage Hazelflare | 1 comments Around 2019 I read this science fiction book about a boy who has this skin condition and his scientist dad develops these topical medications to keep his skin in check. I can't fully remember but his dad may have gone missing or something, or dies. Either way this boy can't go out in the sun and he can't ask his dad for answers so he jumps across the rooves of houses at night because at night he can feel free. And then at some point in the book he and this other person break into this science facility to try and find out if they know what happened to him and why his skin is the way it is.
I just can't remember the name of the book but I would love to read it again.

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5548 comments Second Glance by Jodi Picoult? It has a lot of characters but one is a nine-year-old boy called Ethan who can't go out in the sun.

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5548 comments Or if it was a YA book (for teens), it might be The Owl Keeper by Christien Brodien-Jones. Is the book you're looking for written for children, teens or adults? Roughly what year did you read it?

Kendall | 1 comments Shadow Jumper (Shadow Jumper #1) by J.M. Forster I was recently on a hunt for this book. I read it a few years ago and never finished it and I just found the book by chance, luck, or a downright miracle. "Shadow Jumper" By J M Forster is the book's name.
