Chapters 1-6 The story was hard to get into very descriptive but nothing was happening so I often got bored. I don't like that everything we learn is vague and the characters don't ask questions. I like to know things, I want answers.

Chapter 8 - The dialogue is so frustrating (view spoiler)[Eammon just closed the first breach and they have a whole conversation where they say the vaguest things. They don't explain anything and when they are confused they don't ask for clarification. I know the author probably just wants to hold off on telling us more but this reads so unnatural. Kinda disappointed with how average this was. I felt like the story was stringing me along because I liked bits and pieces of the plot/romance but it never got to a point where I felt more strongly.
