Thank you Steve for the book and Char for the reminder.I just downloaded Skinwrapper.
Looking forward to reading it.

Thanks for the free book. It's short enough that I'll read it with my eyes. I downloaded the epub with my iPad & added it to my Apple books app!
Wow! That’s great of you Steve! That cover is worth a thousand screams and the synopsis sounds like an experience for sure! I’m gonna show it to my husband too, he loves this stuff. Thank you ahead of time. We are glad you’re here.
This looks pretty cool! Thank you for the free download. I must admit, when I read the blurb that stated the story is about space pirates who jack people's body parts, I was reminded of a scene from a Monty Python show:
Can we have your liver, then?
thanks for the free download, stephen! really looking forward to reading this. i need more sci-fi horror in my life, ha ha!
Hi everyone! Thanks @Steve for doing this, highly appreciated :) I‘d love to join in and read the novella but unfortunately I can’t figure out where to download it. Can anyone help me out here?
Johnny wrote: "Hi everyone! Thanks @Steve for doing this, highly appreciated :) I‘d love to join in and read the novella but unfortunately I can’t figure out where to download it. Can anyone help me out here?"Hey Johnny! I downloaded an app called Dropbox (it's free) to my tablet and was able to get it there after clicking on the link in Char's description at the top of this thread. Hope that helps!

Char wrote: "We have a special treat for the month of July! Stephen Kozeniewskii will be joining us as we read his space/horror novella:
[book:Skinwrapper|496..."Welcome Steve! Thank you I am excited to read your book!
Char wrote: "Stephen, would you care to tell us a little bit about yourself and how you came to start writing?"Thanks for the question, Char! I am an Army vet who served in Iraq and I currently live in central Pennsylvania where I help run my lovely and talented girlfriend's balloon decor shop.
In my writing career I have been nominated once for an Indie Horror Book Award (for SKINWRAPPER, in fact!) and twice for a Splatterpunk Award (once in 2018 for THE HEMATOPHAGES, SKINWRAPPER's sequel, and this year for the short story "Sun Poison," fingers crossed!) But my proudest accomplishment is probably winning the World Horror Gross-Out Contest on two non-consecutive occasions. Jay Wilburn pretends like consecutive is more impressive, but it's not.
I've been writing for as long as I remember, so there's not much of a story there. I even remember what a typewriter is. ;)
Ha! I learned to type on an old electric typewriter in high school. It wasn't meant to be, but it turned out to be the most helpful class I've ever taken! Thank you for your service, Steve. Really, thank you. (He's neglecting to mention he received a medal, you guys.)
Was it a story that won the gross out contest? If so, where can I find it? (I've heard a lot about that contest on Brian Keene's podcast back in the day.)
Downloaded my copy yesterday. Thanks for your generosity, Stephen! Looking forward to the reading and discussions, comments here.
Phrique wrote: "I was looking for a sign to not start my homework yet & here it is. Thanks for this & welcome!"Glad to provide it, Phrique. Hope you pass your classes anyway! :)
I’d really love a copy of it’s still available. It sounds intriguing. Either way thanks for chatting with the group and making it available.
