Haley S (haleyjs) I just read I'd tell you I love you but then i'd have to kill you. I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls, #1) by Ally Carter It was pretty good. ANyone else read it?

message 56: by Brandi (new)

Brandi | 73 comments No. Saw it when I was about 12 and really wanted to read it, but never ended up doing it. Is it clean?

I've been thinking about reading that one for awhile now.

Haley S (haleyjs) It was okay. It was pretty clean also. A few words but not that bad of words.

Brandi | 73 comments Oh my goodness, The Giver by Lois Lowry. A-MA-ZING!!! Completely mind-blowing! Everybody, please read it if you haven't already! It's so cool! (And the book is, once again, better than the movie.)

message 60: by avery joy (new)

avery joy I totally agree with you! The book was so much better! Have you read the whole series yet?

message 61: by Cara (new)

Cara (sierraaubergine) Yeah the giver was really awesome. I haven't seen the movie tho. Is it really that bad?

message 62: by avery joy (new)

avery joy It's good! I would recommend seeing it just because I love watching movies of the books I love!

message 63: by Cara (new)

Cara (sierraaubergine) Oh, okay. :) I always thought that book would make an interesting movie because of the whole black and white thing.

message 64: by avery joy (new)

avery joy Yeah!

message 65: by Brandi (new)

Brandi | 73 comments No, I haven't read all of them yet, Avery, though I have them coming in through the library. I can't wait to read them!
Sierra, the movie is good, just not as good as the book. They changed some things and there's just not as much depth to the movie. But it is still pretty good.

message 66: by avery joy (new)

avery joy Brandi, my favorite book is the 4th or 1st because in the 4th all the characters come together from all the different books!

message 67: by Tamara (new)

Tamara Georges (tamarasinnamon) I loved that whole series! Just make sure you don't stop on Gathering Blue, it may seem random at first and some people say it's boring, but it's really a great story and by the end of the series you will see how it ties in. Read ALL of them! :)

message 68: by Brandi (new)

Brandi | 73 comments I will! I have the third from the library and am dying to read it, but I won't till I get the second. Right now my brother is reading The Giver and he is taking an agonizingly long time. It's driving me crazy! LOL ;)

message 69: by Joan (new)

Joan Walker | 5 comments Dark Confessions of an Extraordinary, Ordinary Woman renewed my faith in God. I highly recommend it.

message 70: by Cara (new)

Cara (sierraaubergine) I've seen that one around! I'll definitely check it out.

message 71: by Haley (new)

Haley S (haleyjs) Same
