Main thing I remember about this book is a girl feels so invisible that she feels like she can disappear. I think at one point she floats in the air from feelingshe doesn't exist and how light she feels ?Not sure if she does disappear or not?

Probably not helpful, but sounds like an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer that I've recently re-watched. "Out of sight, out of mind."
