Alyssa finally agrees to be in a relationship with Sam. What was her turning point? Why leave the FBI?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments During this time together, Sam revealed a lot about himself and the reasons for his actions. He was honest with Alyssa about everything. She couldn't help but fall in love with her.

It would be hard for her to stay in the FBI after everything is revealed about Mary Lou. Besides, she has to wonder how Max would treat her in the future.

I believe that Alyssa is finally putting her private life first. And, she realizes Sam’s the man she always wanted him to be and more. She had to let a lot go.

I think you’re right about her reasons for leaving the FBI. It’s no longer healthy for her to continue working under Max.

Robin (robinmy) | 2466 comments I totally agree. At this point it wouldn't be smart to continue working for Max. Alyssa is ready for a new start with Sam.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1812 comments Alyssa is going all in with Sam and vice versa. They are putting each other before their careers and given the circumstances neither is going to be able to stay in their current jobs.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments Sam and Alyssa are both ready to leave their old lives and all the misconceptions they both had behind. Sam leaving the SEALs and Alyssa leaving the FBI is symbolic of them joining together to make a new life together.
