SOLVED. YA Fantasy Post-Apocalyptic Religious(?). [s]

Year I read it: ~2007-2011? (Definitely before 2015)

The plot was that in a post-apocalyptic earth, the different pantheon/religions are doing basically a battle royale over who gets ownership of earth. Each pantheon had a representative god/goddess that had been reborn as a human in preparation for this, and I remember them all mostly being teenagers. Most had some kind of influence/control over their original domain. The catch was that their goal was to kill all the other representatives, and if they died as a human then they would die permanently. Some characters remembered their lives and goals as their godly self, but I think the main characters didn't really remember anything besides their human life.

There were I think four main characters? Two male and two female. Kali (Hindu) was one of them, I only remember that she had anger issues and a hard home life maybe? The anger issues made sense considering Kali's mythology. I think Artemis was the Greek representative, I vaguely remember Apollo came by to talk to her and was distraught over her not remembering him. One of the boys was the Aztec rep (I don't remember which), but he befriended a Quetzalcoatl he called "Quetzie" so maybe he was a hunter type? Not sure he was kind of a wild child. The other boy I don't remember much but I think he was from a REALLY little-known pantheon (Mesopotamia? Maybe??) And I think he was some kind of storm god.

It was the first of a series but I don't think I ever read any of them if that helps.

That is absolutely correct tysm 🙏. I knew it was something like that but the ones I tried turned out to be a game and a manwha. Searching "Kali" kept giving me the daughter of kali series and Quetzie got me nowhere.
