Stacey uncovers lots of criminal history in Daryl Hewitt’s past that no one in the Daynes family knew about. Did he rise to the top of your list, especially when Rachel was killed? Did you also wonder how the family was unaware of his past, especially his position in the family business?

[Sharon]

It didn't surprise me that the family didn't know of Daryl's past. Criminals are good at deception. Also, the Daynes were looking outside the immediate family for someone to handle the business. I wondered about that more than Daryl. Even with that, I didn't have Daryl high on my suspect list.

It will always surprise me when people are placed in position of leadership in a business and they haven’t been properly vetted. Here Daryl was managing all aspects of the family business and he was a crook. That said, it’s fairly typical of small businesses. The management team is small and they wear many hats. Still…

I thought the most shocking revelation as far as Daryl was concerned was that he was the father of Rozzie's baby. That really didn't fit for me, but it also didn't much affect the final outcome.
