SOLVED. 70's/80's Children's Fantasy book about monsters. [s]

Memories can be flawed but I seem to remember the cover of a boy and a girl holding hands running in a feild it could have been an illustration inside though. The book was about different monsters and how they catch kids, it was amazing and nothing like you will find today. The illustrations were very well done and all black and white. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Do you remember what types of monsters were featured? Like recognizable monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein's monster, etc?

There was an ogre/troll monster that had a trap door and was underground and that is how they were described to catch kids, I don't believe any of the monsters were your typical known monsters of modern media.

Some of the poems are about monsters who catch and eat kids, including an ogre and a troll.
