Happy June! Wishing everyone a wonderful start to the month.

What is everyone reading this week? I have a couple books going right now. I'm still in the middle of The Fellowship of the Ring. I also started Malice and A Lady for a Duke. I'll probably finish one, maybe two of these before the week is out but we'll see. I've not been a reading mood and have been watching Doctor Who, lol.

Happy reading!

The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1) by J.R.R. Tolkien Malice (Malice Duology, #1) by Heather Walter A Lady for a Duke by Alexis Hall

Ashley (morwesong) | 59 comments I just finished Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe, since my city has made the news recently after it was pulled from school libraries. They are also trying to sue Barnes & Noble for making it available to minors. It is only a matter of time before my library gets dragged into it, but we have it as a print book and digitally on Hoopla (and I will fight to keep it there!). Not only did I find it absurd that people were calling this graphic novel "obscene," but it absolutely hit me in the feels. While it is not a topic applicable to my personal life, I think e did a beautiful job of explaining issues surround gender identity. I think it is incredibly important that this book stay available to those who need it.
