This will be my first experience using the audio version for a full-length novel! I usually only listen to short stories, and I heard a novella a couple of weeks ago. I still read along, though. I lose focus if I try to listen while doing something else.

Although a bit science-heavy for my taste, it is still fascinating - and then there's Rocky! Rocky is the reason to listen to the audio version!

It felt like it was a bit of a similar vein to Skyward in terms of its vibe, but definitely more science-heavy (which I did not mind at all).
The linguistics aspects were absolutely fascinating!

The very last scene did make me smile.
