I might have just the book for you!

My book The Red Grouse Tales: The Little Dog and other stories, is a collection of 4 novellas, described as modern fables, each different - so hopefully something for everyone! They are a good mix of mystery, religion, philosophy and paranormal.

The four individual tales are:-
The Little Dog – a story of good and evil and retribution.
The Crow - a poignant tale of misunderstanding, dying, bitterness and blame
The Golden Tup - a dreadful tale of paradise being cruelly taken by latent evil.
The White Hart - a happy ghost story, if there can be such a thing!

They are suitable for a YA readership, are contemporary and the book has just been nominated as a Finalist in this years Book Excellence Awards in the Christian fiction category.

Hi Rachel, I have a book that may interest you. It's called "Brooms," and it's the second book in my paranormal fantasy anthology series. Each book is a stand-alone story based on a different icon of Halloween. Here's a synopsis:

Sixteen-year-old Maggie Addison is a goon. At least that’s what she’s branded after she starts an epic hockey brawl following her team’s disappointing loss in the playoffs. Kicked out of the league for a year, her parents decide that Maggie’s best option is to lie low for a while. and what better place to do that than in a remote northern community on the shore of one of the largest lakes in Saskatchewan?

But this is not just any lake. It’s Reindeer Lake, supposedly home to the fabled Deep Bay Monster. Maggie has no time for such nonsense, preferring to keep herself rooted in the real world. However, the more time she spends up north, the stranger her “real” world becomes, to the point that she begins to wonder if it’s time to broaden her perspective, even if that means playing a sport that is the bane of her existence . . . curling.
