Thank you so much, Justin!
This virus is so contagious. Had a outdoor birthday party with my brothers and sisters, and one brother got sick the next day and tested positive. Four others came down with symptoms within a few days, myself being one of them. Two days with this bug and I still feel like crap. All I can suggest, is to use a mask when possible. Seems the immunity I got from a booster in early December helped me when I got exposed back on Christmas, but has worn off since then. I hate this bug.

Thanks for the well wishes all. No special treatments other than rest and a lot of fluids. Hoping to be mostly better tomorrow...knock...knock

I suspect this is going to be like the flu and come back every year or so with a new variation. As the population of the World has gone up the World has "shrunk." This is nirvana for viruses. Unless they come up with an effective antiviral this cycle will continue to worsen. Our government response was miserable with a death toll of over a million. I hope we have learned something.

Sort of makes the case for space travel, doesn't it?
Hopefully we can come up with a better solution, because I'd rather not have to get multiple boosters each year. At least my fever broke and am feeling much better today. Thanks for all the well wishes.

So glad your fever broke and you're feeling better, Jot. Do take it easy, rest, don't push yourself. Glad you're doing better.

The Covid virus seems to be going through similar stages that the Flu virus went through. It the 1918 flu epidemic it killed many millions of people but as time went on it killed fewer and fewer, It still kills many and it would have gotten me some years ago if not for my wife dumping me into a bathtub full of cold water.
Good to know the ice bath is a trick that really works, but even happy to know that I didn't have to do it. I prefer swimming in the tropical water of the Caribbean
