Congrats! I'm about to publish my second book March 31st. Currently proof-reading for the final time and trying to catch all of those pesky typos. Once again, congrats on the new book!
congratulations. Definitely getting a new book out there, whether the first or the first thousandth is an achievement. It means you've done a whole barge load of work.Way to go!

Thanks! Now it feels like we actually have a series, not just a book and a sequel. It's so nice to click that little button (except for the worrying part, of course).
Congrats, and I feel much the same. My third book of The Zenith Series, The Zenith's Warrior is coming out in April. It's off to the editor tomorrow, so I can see how many glaring mistakes I made! Some of those mistakes really make me feel bad, some just make me laugh. All the best for your fourth book! Dameon
Never say never, Owen. I wrote drivel that was tossed away or shelved for twenty years. You may find yourself turning into a writing fool out of the blue. ;)

And I know what you mean. The genesis of our series was back in 1990 +/- a year or so. No one I knew much liked what I wrote then, so I played with it, then dropped it until 2011 when I mentioned in to my (now) co-author and she agreed to come on board with the idea. I suppose if I'd forged ahead in 1990, I could have possibly gotten ahead of the whole curve, but the series would have sucked. I'm glad I waited.

Anyway, each book we've written has been a milestone for us. The first was "Wow! Did we actually publish a book?" The second was "Damn! We did it again!" This one is feels different. Three books seems sorta... real. (Actually, I suppose it's technically four, since there are two installments in this volume, but whatever.)
So I felt like sharing that, and you good folks are the stuckees. Now I have to go see what egregious error was overlooked despite our best efforts and will now be glaringly obvious.
Thanks for allowing me to post about our little victory here.
