Eric | 8 comments This was a book that has colored cartoon picture logic puzzles for kids. I remember the first puzzle was astronomy related and it was a cartoon map of a constellation. You had to traverse the map of the stars without crossing the same path twice. The theme of that puzzle related to Apollo mythology.

There was another puzzle that was a cross section of a pyramid. Again, you had to traverse the pyramid and pick the right path, based on the rules given. The theme of this puzzle was Ancient Egypt.

I vaguely remember another one was red green yellow and blue paths. No more information on that one.

It was published in the 90s. I remember the puzzles being very difficult to me as a little kid. I could only solve maybe one of two of them, and there were about 20 in the book. There were answers in the back of the book. Even with the answers, I still couldn't quite grasp the logic of how they arrived the puzzles. I was in elementary school at the time if reading the book.

I'm now a computer scientist and I think these logic puzzles piqued my interest in algorithms and data structures at a young age :-)

Eric | 8 comments I feel like this book was a part of a series. The title maybe was like "Even more logic puzzles for kids" or "Logic puzzles for kids 3"

Although I could be wrong about this detail

Eric | 8 comments Maybe an adjective in the title about how hard the puzzles were. Such as "Super difficult puzzles for kids"

Just trying to give as much details as possible :-)

RabbitMilitia | 338 comments Hi Eric! Probably not the correct one- but just in case- something like this: Amazing Mazes 2? Do you think the puzzles were more challenging then these? Since you are calling them logic puzzles, I'm guessing they might be a different sort than mazes?

message 6: by Eric (new)

Eric | 8 comments Yes the book was something like that, but it wasn't Amazing Mazes 2. I think the puzzles were more challenging than that just mazes. It was a variety of puzzles, some of them mazes but each one had logical rules to them (such as you can't go through the same path twice. Or only pick one colored path, etc.)

Each puzzle had a theme, such as Mythology or Ancient Egypt and some flavor text telling a story about the puzzle.
