I don't think this book was made into a movie.

Ah, okay, even better! LoL I did love the movie Malignant but very cool this has nothing to do with it :-)
Finished it a few days ago and I have to say, I am always baffled when good books don't have many reviews. This is such an INTENSE read. Not easy by any means. It's chilling, dark, brutal, ugly, and portrays the evil intent of human monsters! Anytime a story involves the evil darkness that sometimes resides in humanity, it pokes a thread in my psyche and I am hooked.
This was a fantastic book - I found the story complex and riveting and the characters interesting. It was hard to put down and I’m so glad this book was selected for group read via the poll.
I'm only about 15% into this. I'm reading too many things at one time right now. I want to focus this week on getting this book finished. It's interesting so far but I have no idea where this could be going.

Not sure how I felt about (view spoiler) (Hope I did my spoiler correctly!)
A tough book to read after the recent school violence in the US. Maybe that's why I struggled to stay with it and had to skim at the end to finish.
It was just ok for me.

Is this what crime drama is? I’m a little over a 3rd of this and…still waiting for something to happen? I’m sure I’m more than desensitized to violence but I’m going to need more than what we are being given so far in order to be truly scared/creeped out. The character descriptions are not helping this at all. Just say Dan, not Dapper Dan, we get it. Please get better.
