With 30 days until Shark Week 2025, let's think about our prospects!

I noticed these new shark book releases have come out in the past twelve months:

Deep Sea Predator
Sharks Don't Sink: Adventures of a Rogue Shark Scientist
Shark: The Illustrated Biography
The Secret History of Sharks: The Rise of the Ocean's Most Fearsome Predators

For prior years, we still have a few former runners-up (that had received at least one vote in previous polls) that we've never read yet:

Chasing Shadows: My Life Tracking the Great White Shark
Megalodon: Apex Predator
Fathomless

And hat tip to Fishface (just after last year's voting took place), Z-Shark:
Z-Shark: A Deep Sea Thriller

What additional nominees do you have before I create this year's poll(s)?

I may be biased, but my own novel, An Ocean Life, takes the shark thriller genre a whole different direction. Greg Skomal, the author and scientist who wrote Chasing Shadows, reviewed and provided advice during the editing process.

I disagree about it being a SECRET history but I'm highly interested in The Secret History of Sharks: The Rise of the Ocean's Most Fearsome Predators. Other than that, unless work gets in the way, I'm good to join whatever monster story you the majority selects.

I'm not sure I'll have time for both but I can just join for one and forego the other while you guys have fun so I don't mind either way.

Although I would like to do a final poll, we're running out of time. Shark Week starts in three days!

I'll set up discussion boards for both books. I'll be out of pocket tomorrow so I'll put them up on Saturday.

The boards split each book in two halves. But for some reason I'm getting an error when I try to create the second half of Megalodon Gulf. I'll try again later, but this is enough to get us started.

I started with Bloodbath, the one that Trish favours. I‘m in chapter 9, close to 2 hours into the audio. Not bad so far.

*lol* Yeah, I figured that was why you already started. Too good a deal to miss. Since I have an office day tomorrow and will therefore spend 2-3h in the car, finishing it by Tuesday should not be a problem.
